Some of you will be aware of what the premises were like before I moved into them, but here are some pictures of the work in progress. Please check back for regular updates !

Reception   

This is the reception previously...

After the first day of refurbishment, the old kitchen area has been ripped out creating a nice space at the front of the premises for the pet supplies...

The reception area gets a new ceiling, new walls and a door !

         22/04/08

The shop front gets a nice new coat of paint along with the doors & the new window seat. The floors are covered in latex ready for the new floor to be laid.

The new shop sign is fitted and the reception area is nearly completed !

Utility Area

This area was previously used for grooming and drying of dogs...

Stud walls have now been put in place to make two rooms from this space, one for a utility room and the other a separate drying area for the dogs...

Completed stud walls by the end of day four ...

Plastering has begun and the utility room begins to be fitted !

All new doors are in place and paint is on the walls... Wall tiles have been added to the utility room and things are really taking shape now ... not long to go !!!

Hydrotherapy Area

This was where the bathing of dogs took place previously and where the hydrojet pool is positioned...

The old stainless steel walls and the floors are being removed here...

The main area is completely stripped bare and looking better already ! We are now ready for new flooring and walls...

De-humidyfiers extract moisture from the floor, and plumbing and electrial work get underway.

Paint is on the walls and new flooring is due to be laid...

  As you can see, the centre has has undergone many changes and we are delighted to now be open ..
